The Canadian Groups success is built on continuous new-product development and extensive marketing of new concepts that can be used to win new listings in retail outlets across the world. Mock-ups and working prototypes are essential business tools in the puzzle and game sector: they are used in presentations to store buyers and at with licensors to gain concept approvals before tooling up for production.

Quick turnaround is required to accommodate merchant or licensor requested changes.

Strategy

Cyclone Creative was called on to develop a cost-effective method for producing The Canadian Group's actual-size prototypes and mock-ups.

By leveraging Cyclones in-house production and photo studio facilities, The Canadian Group would be able to contain development costs, shorten turnaround times and still produce mock-up and prototypes of the highest graphic quality.

Outcome

Implementing the strategy has allowed The Canadian Group to create more, high-quality prototypes, expanding the companys ability to secure the most desirable Class A license agreements from licensors such as Hit Entertainment, The NHL and Bakugan Battle Brawlers and gain new listings with major local and international retailers, including Wal-Mart, Sears, Toys R Us and many more.
